5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has been an absolute pleasure — easily a 5-star experience. Lidl is just a 3-minute walk away, making grocery shopping super convenient. There’s also an excellent selection of Asian and Middle Eastern food options nearby, which is a real bonus for food lovers. The transport links are fantastic, with two bus stops located right on the main road offering frequent and reliable connections across the city. The neighbourhood itself is peaceful, with no traffic noise or disturbances. Parking is generally available, bin collections are timely, and there’s no anti-social behaviour to speak of.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been exceptional. Any issues I’ve raised have been handled promptly and with real attention to detail. They’re always friendly, approachable, and make sure you feel listened to and well taken care of throughout.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is how great the co-working space is. It’s way more comfortable and well-equipped than I expected — perfect for working from home or getting out of your flat for a bit of a change. It’s definitely a nice bonus!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Milliners Yard has been a great experience. The building is brand new, beautifully designed, and everything feels carefully curated. Despite the restoration work happening next door, which can look a bit messy at times, I actually enjoy having this historical feature nearby, it adds character and charm to the area. The staff here are fantastic, always kind, approachable, and happy to help. They take great care of the building and its residents, making everything run smoothly. We have access to private parking at a rate that’s competitive with other options in the area, and there are also public parking spots behind the building and nearby, which adds flexibility. Local amenities are very convenient. Lidl is just a short walk away and has its own parking, which is a big plus. There are also some lovely small food shops in the area that are a real gem. Everton Park is within walking distance, offering a great green space to relax or go for a walk. The neighborhood feels safe and has easy access to the city center, making it an ideal location overall.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The team is efficient and promptly helpful , the reception area has always people available to help.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I'm really enjoying my time here, it's a place that combines modern comfort with local character and convenience.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a good range of local shops, cafes, restaurants, and green spaces nearby. Most daily essentials can be easily found within walking distance, and the quality of food and services in local restaurants is generally high. A mix of independent shops and larger supermarkets makes the area both convenient and pleasant to live in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always responded quickly and professionally. Kevin once helped us retrieve a lost key with great efficiency, and Kadira was very patient and supportive throughout our move-in process. Their service has been reliable and kind.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the smart door monitor wasn’t properly set up. It still doesn’t allow remote access even after reporting the issue. I’d recommend new tenants double-check all tech features during handover to avoid delays.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I'd like to have know the capability to have one of the bedrooms cleared for an office, but I didn't know and should have called. No wotties about that, just an oversight on my behalf.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
One of the things I love most about living in this area is the convenience of the local shops and supermarkets. When choosing a flat, I compared several developments, and what stood out about this one was the proximity to two Chinese supermarkets and several other stores like Tesco and Lidl – all within walking distance. There are also some great Chinese restaurants nearby, which is a big plus. The transport links are another highlight. Just 10 metres from the building, there are four bus stops, making it incredibly convenient for daily commuting. I don’t drive, so I can’t comment on parking, but the bin collection is always timely and efficient. In terms of safety, I generally feel secure in the area. Occasionally, there are some noisy passersby at night, but the good soundproofing of the windows makes a big difference.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has always responded quickly and kindly to any issues we raised – available 24/7 and very professional. Kevin helped us sort out a lost key with great care and followed up to check on our move-in experience. Kadira was incredibly patient and helpful throughout our apartment search and move-in process, answering every question and making us feel welcome. Another staff member who showed us the flat was also polite, friendly, and gave us a great first impression, though we didn’t catch her name. We also appreciate the cleaning staff who work hard every morning to keep the building spotless !
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish had been checked before moving in is the remote door access monitor inside the flat. It wasn’t properly set up when we moved in, so we haven’t been able to use the remote open-door function. We reported the issue, but it’s still not resolved. I’d suggest future residents double-check this feature before moving in to make sure everything is working as expected.
