Situated on the Chiddingly Road, the property is about 0.2 miles from the junction with the main A267 which runs south through Horam towards Hellingly and the A22. There is also access to the renowned Cuckoo trail which provides scenic and traffic free walking and cycling along the former railway line from Heathfield to Hampden Park, Eastbourne. Heathfield is some 2.5 miles to the north and has a good range of amenities with several independent shops and restaurants together with four national supermarket chains. The area is well served with schooling for all age groups. Main line train stations with direct services to London are available at Buxted, Stonegate and Polegate, all within 10 miles. There are bus routes that serve the village linking to surrounding towns and villages. Tunbridge Wells with its excellent shopping & leisure facilities is some 17 miles; the coastal towns of Eastbourne and Brighton are about 15 miles and 24 miles respectively.
