Description
"The room is a bright, south-facing double with loads of natural light. It’s unfurnished, which means you can really make it your own. There are built-in wardrobes in the hallway just for you, and there’s plenty of space in the room for a desk and extra storage.
You’ll be sharing a sunny, south-facing living room – it’s a proper sun trap (the cat can confirm). The bathroom has a shower/bathtub, and we’ve got access to a large, quiet communal garden. The neighbours are genuinely lovely and respectful – it really feels like a small community where everyone looks out for each other.
The flat is in a brilliant location in Central Hove. Hove Train Station is just a 7-minute walk away, and the dependable number 7 bus stops right on our road – only a 2-minute stroll from the front door. The beach is a breezy 10-minute walk, and you’re never far from shops, cafes, or anything else you might need. If you drive, there’s permit street parking (Zone O), which is affordable and has no waitlist.
You’ll be sharing with me – I’m a friendly young professional working as an administrator at a local estate agent. I’m sociable and always up for a chat, a night out, or trying something new, but I also value my own space and totally respect yours too. I love reading, running, sewing, photography, and the occasional spontaneous adventure. You’ll also be living with Crookshanks, my very handsome and very chill cat who spends most of his time napping in the sunshine.
The flat is calm, cheerful, and has always been a safe and happy space. I really hope it will feel like home for you too. Rent is £1450 per month (£700 for the room). Bills are around £160 each per month (inclusive of water, electricity, council tax and WiFi), and the landlady will ask for a deposit of five weeks rent, approximately £807. EPC rating C and we have just had a new boiler fitted. I’m happy to share more info on bills or anything else – please just ask. "
