Description

THE HOME

This well presented and careful maintained two bedroom detached park home bungalow is located in a prime position at the bottom of the park on a generous, plot siding onto the River Avon. This home is certainly a one-off and few homes in Wiltshire can boast the unique position and outlook that this home offers.

Internally, the home boasts spacious accommodation throughout and we believe the standard of decoration and the layout of the rooms will suit many buyers. You enter the home through an enclosed entrance lobby to the side of the home and this has a double glazed door leading into the re-fitted kitchen. This modern fitted has a range of matching wall and base units, a double glazed window to the side, a ceramic sink with drainer, integrated double electric oven and electric hob with a stainless steel cooker hood/extractor fan over, integrated dishwasher, plumbing for a washing machine and a useful storage cupboard with large sliding doors and this cupboard houses the central heating boiler and there is a door which leads into the Lounge/Dining Room.

The L-Shaped, lounge/dining room is bright and homely with dual aspect double glazed windows and views over the garden and the river to the side. There is a feature fireplace and the dining area has enough space for a table and chairs and there is a door leading into the inner lobby. From the inner lobby there are doors leading into both the bedrooms and the bathroom. Both bedrooms are double rooms and there is a double glazed door in the second bedroom that leads into the double glazed conservatory and the bathroom has a double glazed window and a modern suite with a bath with shower over, low-level WC and a pedestal wash hand basin. The conservatory is a useful room to relax in and has double glazed windows to the sides and the rear and double glazed doors lead into the garden.

The outside space and aspect of this home is what sets it apart from the competition and must be viewed to be fully appreciated as photos do not do it justice. The home is position at the bottom of the park and occupies a corner plot siding onto the River Avon. There are gardens to all sides of the home with the front of the home being laid to gravel and there is a block paved driveway with parking(only one car allowed to be parked per home). The side and rear gardens are mainly paved and enclosed by fencing and there are flower beds and borders, a useful storage shed, greenhouse and a decked area that comes off the conservatory. The side garden which overlooks the river is mainly laid to lawn with flower beds and borders and there is a further decked area with a summer house overlooking the river which provides a peaceful space to relax and unwind. As if that wasn't enough, there is a gate with steps leading down to a flat area siding onto the river that can be used for fishing(subject to having a fishing licence)!

This home is truly stunning and we would recommend a viewing at the earliest convenience.

THE PARK

Riverside Park is a residential park for the over 50's, situated in the village of Upavon near Pewsey, is a small park which consists of only 22 homes, with the River Avon running at the bottom.

The park itself is well maintained and people are friendly with a real community spirit. The owners of the park are very obliging and go out of their way to help the residents, you could not wish for better owners.

Everywhere in the village, i.e. shop, public houses, doctors surgery are all within walking distance. There is also a bus service with a bus stop at the entrance of the park which runs every hour

Residents Testimonial

'We have been living at Riverside Park for the past 24 years. It is very peaceful and quiet and is situated within easy walking distance from the local village. The owners of the park have carried out considerable improvements to the park and made it what it is today, a beautiful park home estate. We have always found the owners to be friendly and very approachable'.
