5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Salford Quays has been a great experience overall. The area has a good range of shops, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance, and MediaCity is just around the corner with even more options and a vibrant atmosphere. There are lovely open spaces and waterfront walks, perfect for relaxing or exercising. Transport links are excellent, with the tram just a short walk away and regular services into the city centre and beyond. However, parking can be a bit limited, so it’s worth planning ahead if you have a car. The street itself is generally quiet and well-kept, with reliable bin collections and no major issues with noise or anti-social behaviour. It feels safe and well-connected, making it a great place to live for both professionals and students.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent in responding to any issues I’ve raised. They’re quick, professional, and genuinely care about residents’ comfort. Selina, in particular, has been incredibly helpful—always approachable and proactive in resolving things efficiently. It’s clear that the team takes pride in maintaining a high standard of service, which really adds to the overall living experience at Eda.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how quickly the apartments would fill up—being one of the first tenants, it was quiet at first, but it’s become much livelier now. Also, it would’ve been helpful to know more about the parking options in advance, as spaces are limited. That said, the team has been great at helping with any questions, and the overall experience has been really positive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really great vibrant area. In the heart of Salford Quays and not too far from Media City. Tram stop is outside Eda building. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars around. 10 mins to City Centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance is fantastic. Michael who carries out the maintenance is absolutely terrific and highly personable. Fast response times and excellent work. Mark the contact for the wifi was brilliant too. Overall. excellent so far.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Fulfilled all expectations. Would like the windows the windows to open a little more to bring more air in to the apartment.
Manager's response5Thank you for the amazing review Sonia! It's so lovely to read how happy you are with your decision to move to Eda and how the team have made such an impact! (Thanks for the shout out for me too!) I have no doubt you're going to continue being valued members of the Eda community, so please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you! 3Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Transport link is convenient, expect street noise even on high floors due to the location - though minimal if floors are higher
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Slow to respond, had to chase and remind multiple times before they take action
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Talking to residents who have lived here, how is maintenance issue dealt with. Some of the appliances are not as good quality as traditional brands, such as the oven and washing machine.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The apartment itself is really nice modern, clean, and comfortable. It’s the perfect size and layout for me, and everything works as it should. The local area is also a big plus there are loads of places to eat, shop, and chill, plus great transport links. It’s a great spot if you want convenience and a bit of everything nearby
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They deal with things quickly, kindly, and professionally. Ade always goes out of his way to help and really brings a positive vibe to the place. He’s a big part of what makes living here feel so easy and welcoming.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One of the best things about living at EDA is the people. Everyone here is so friendly and respectful—it honestly feels like a little community. Whether it’s holding the door open, helping with deliveries, or just saying hello in the hallway, there’s a real sense of support between residents. It makes the whole place feel more comfortable and welcoming.
Manager's response5Thank you for the amazing review Ella! It's great to hear how the team, and especially Ade, have made such an impact on your experience! You have definitely described the Eda community perfectly... we couldn't ask for nicer residents! Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you! Thanks, Helen
