Provide visitors with a professional and friendly service, serving items such as, but not necessarily limited to:

Hot/cold snacks and light meals

Cakes/bakes

Ice cream

Support a seasonal events programme that engages visitors and the wider community, and that may require extending the offer across the evening. We want the offer to be suitable for a broad range of visitors, including families, and as the area is popular with dog walkers we would also like consideration to be given to how we cater for customers with dogs.

Provide confidence in the management and commercial acumen of the partner to uphold the terms of the lease and represent the National Trust.

Rental offers are sought based on a minimum base rent payable quarterly in advance together with a top up rent calculated as a percentage of turnover, payable quarterly in arrears.

VAT payable on both elements of the rent and reductions will be considered for the first year of the lease.
