Kingsway Shopping Centre is being reimagined by its new owner, Niall Leighton-Boyce. Since its purchase in 2024, at least 10 new independent businesses have joined the centre, in previously unoccupied space. 112 student studios are currently under construction, due for completion in time for the 2026 academic year.

A brand new 15,000 sq ft leisure offering has just opened in the previously unoccupied basement space - formerly home to the In Shops. A 10,000+ sq ft soft play operator with a high-end fit out will be opening in time for the summer holidays (August 2025) in the former Wilko's.
