Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the Almere is second to none! Sainsbury's is across the street and we're surrounded by restaurants and bars of all cuisines and budget. The road links are great to get in an out of the City via car, plus one of the best Malls in the country is in walking distance. Its quite at night with no road or City noise and it feels safe to walk around at night too. The garage underneath provides excellent parking plus there's electric chargers for vehicles too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The Building Management team have been amazing and have gone way beyond the norm to help us settle in and answer any questions we have. They are so genuine and friendly and it resonates in the environment and atmosphere within the Almere building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The unit doesn't come with a microwave (but maybe that's normal in the UK?)

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Almere is pleasant with many green spaces, good shops, reliable public transport, and low crime. Parking can be tricky at times, but overall it’s a clean, safe, and family-friendly area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Jasmine, Christina, and the entire Almere team have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and efficiency in addressing all concerns. Their dedication greatly contributes to the building’s high standard of management

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how friendly and helpful the building management and neighbours would be. It’s a very welcoming community, which made settling in much easier than I had expected.

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are so pleased with ourselves for finding and choosing the Almere - it is perfect in every single way. The location? We are surrounded by restaurants, we're across the street from our favorite massage studio, Sainsbury's is also just across the street for easy grocery getting, we're a three minute walk to the mall, MK Centre which includes an M&S and John Lewis, etc, etc. We're also very close the MK station for easy access to London on a fast train! Although we haven't used them yet, there's always a few Lime scooters nearby if we want to scoot somewhere faster than walking. The parking garage is excellent, safe and clean. The bins for trash and recycling are easy to access, they have plenty of them and the bin area is kept clean and tidy. Our apartment is very quite - no noise from neighbors or the stree/outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Jasmine has really helped us out tremendously with the parking garage to make sure we have a spot that really works for us. So appreciative of her above and beyond help with that!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How to use the washer/dryer unit is still a mystery to me - I wish there was a video on how to use it, I find the written instructions unclear.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have lived in casting for almost a year, and experience living here was amazing. I am currently university student, and there is a bus stop right next to the apartment and fee is also free for UOM students. I prefer to walk to the uni and it only takes 25 minutes to get there. The apartment is also close with northern quarter, Arndale, Aldi, and Sainsbury which makes my life even more convenient. Right next to the apartment, there is also Piccadilly village which is a nice place to walk around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I first moved in, I feel like air circulator is not working well. I requested help through active building, and staff popped in to my room and checked my room at the time I selected.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I am living in the middle floor and I've heard that new construction is gonna start right next to the casting. If you are sensitive for construction blocking your nice view, I recommend to move in to higher floor, or the room that is not facing the construction site.

    The Castings, M1

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on this street is generally really nice — it’s a friendly area with a great sense of community and loads of local cafés, shops, and green spaces nearby. Everything you need is pretty much on your doorstep, and the location is super convenient for transport, with regular buses and nearby train links. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially in the evenings, and there is the occasional bit of anti-social behaviour, but nothing too major. Bin collections are reliable and the street is usually clean and fairly quiet. Overall, it’s a lovely place to live with just a couple of minor issues.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Within the same day or if not, the next, 10/10 no complaints.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Some antisocial behaviour in surrounding roads which was sometimes anxiety inducing.
