Sellers Insight

50 years ago, after months of searching for our dream home, we stumbled upon Maespant, derelict and in need of some love and attention. All these years later we can hardly believe how lucky we were to find it. Nestled in the most beautiful countryside, with stunning views that remain unchanged, it soon became our favourite retreat. Our family has thrived here, our children bringing friends from school, university and later work to socialize and enjoy the great outdoors; and quite often to party too! Now they both bring their wives and our four grandchildren for long weekend family gatherings. Our friends love to come here too for the tranquility and the amazing wild life; and then to sit around the fire talking until long into the night. It has become a haven full of wonderful happy memories, and it will be a wrench to leave it; but it is time for somebody else to share the magic that is Maespant.
