Torbay Council invites offers from parties interested in a license for the right to place a retail concession on Princess Parade, Torquay, TQ2 5EG for a period of up to 5 years.

The use to be specified in the licence as Class E - Commercial, Business and Service, E(a) Display or retail sale of goods. Not for the sale of food and drink.

Location:
Princess Parade is a beautiful harbourfront promenade fronting Torquay's stunning Outer Harbour. This pedestrianised walkway runs from the Inner Harbour to the Princess Theatre with Princess Gardens behind. The harbour is located at the heart of Torquay town and merges seamlessly into the town centre behind offering a wide variety of facilities, restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all pockets, from locally sourced fish and chips to Michelin starred dining. This retail site is located on the southern side of Princess Parade, positioned on the public walkway backing onto the marina.

Interested parties are free to view the location at their leisure.

Street Trading Permit:
The retail concession is temporary/mobile and requires a street trading licence. The licensee will be responsible for seeking and payment of a street trading licence. Therefore, we advise all interested parties to check with the Local Authority in respect of their specific intentions. See brochure for website information.
The temporary/mobile vehicle is required to be removed on a daily basis and must not be kept on site overnight.
