There are also two popular pubs located in the village as well as a café at Hook Norton Brewery. The nearest railway stations are located at Charlbury and Banbury with regular services to Paddington and Marylebone respectively in around an hour.
The area boasts a wide range of schools, with a primary school in Hook Norton and secondary schools in Chipping Norton and Bloxham. There are also several well-regarded independent schools close by including Bloxham School, Tudor Hall, Kingham Hill and Kitebrook, with St Edward's and Magdalen College slightly further afield in Oxford
