Description

Rose Cottage is an unlisted period stone-built property which has been thoughtfully designed and finished to a very high standard to offer an outstanding home. The property underwent a full renovation around two years ago which included re-wiring, a new heating system and hardwood double glazed windows. From the front door you enter a hallway with access to the two main reception rooms. The sitting room has an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. The dining room has an open brick fireplace and is well proportioned for entertaining. The hub of the house is the amazing open plan kitchen offering hand built kitchen units, large island, AGA, stone floors, large lantern sky light, and French doors to the terrace. There are steps down to the TV room with a feature vaulted stone ceiling. A utility room and cloakroom complete the ground floor.
On the first floor the main bedroom has an en-suite with walk in shower and French doors leading to the garden. There is another double bedroom, a study/bedroom and a modern family bathroom. On the second floor there are another two double bedrooms with superb views over the centre of Hook Norton.

Outside

To the front of the house there is paved area with parking for several cars enclosed by pretty mature borders and a pathway to the front door. There are two areas of lawn either side of the house. From the kitchen there is access to a landscaped mediterranean style terrace ideal for entertaining and dining. Overall, a very attractive garden.
