Description
Find your new home on a lovely tree-lined residential street. Peckham Rye and East Dulwich stations (both Fare Zone 2) are each a pleasant 15 minute walk. Parking is unrestricted, on-street.
Take steps up to your own front door. Once in, on your right you'll find your big and bright reception room - of over 14 feet by over 12 feet. Welcome features here include a big bay window, engineered wood flooring, an attractive feature fireplace, and alcove shelving.
Your eat-in kitchen is next up (this is over 12 feet by over 9 feet), with a smart slate tiled floor and a window to verdant vistas.
Up to the first floor and from the half-landing, you have a cute utility lobby, then a smart sash-windowed modern bathroom.
From the landing proper, your first double bedroom is set to your left - of over 12 feet by nearly 11 feet. A sash window, pale carpet and a built-in alcove wardrobe feature here.
Your large twin-sashed principal bedroom is set to the front of the building, pleasingly taking the width of it (it is over 16 feet by over 12 feet). A bank of built-in wardrobes run a whole wall.
What a spot! Leafy, quiet and resi, but with so much within easy reach. You are but a few minutes from Peckham Rye Park and Goose Green. Dulwich Park, Dulwich Village and Dulwich Picture Gallery are all within reasonable walking distance.
Lordship Lane and North Cross Road shops plus Saturday market are within a five minute walk (we rate SMBS Foods, The Cheese Block and William Rose particularly highly, and East Dulwich Picturehouse), and you have lots of lovely pubs around; including The Clockhouse, The Herne, the Great Exhibition and The Actress. East Dulwich leisure centre is also nearby.
Trendy Peckham is but a short walk for such delights as Bellenden Road, Peckham Levels and The Bussey and Market Buildings. The restaurant/foodie offering is particularly strong in Peckham! We like Ganapati, Peckham Bazaar, Artusi, Banh Banh, The Begging Bowl and Mr Bao.
East Dulwich has some great spots and pubs and cafes as well. Examples are Franklins, Kokum, The EDT, Söderberg and The Bishop.
Honor Oak, Dulwich Village, Forest Hill, Herne Hill, Nunhead and Camberwell are all fairly close for further options.
