The Castings is situated in a prime and ‘up and coming’ area, offering a real sense of urban living with everything you need at your doorstep. A short walk will take you to the hot-spot bars, cafes, restaurants and shops, plus relaxing and unwind along the canals or the marina. Not to mention the convenience of Piccadilly train station just down the road! It’s perfectly situated amongst in all, but nicely away from the noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have submitted a couple of maintenance requests and they have been dealt with well and promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I felt like we were made aware of everything before moving in. Even the fact that there are lots of resident dogs!! It’s fantastic!!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I really enjoy living here. The development is well-designed and modern, with excellent facilities that are always well-maintained. The location is very convenient - very close to the city centre - with plenty of local shops, cafes, restaurants. Public transport links are reliable and easily accessible. The area feels safe and welcoming, and my street is generally quiet with minimal traffic noise. Bin collections are regular and well-organised. I haven't noticed any issues with anti-social behaviour, and the community is friendly. One of the highlights is the reception team, who are extremely helpful and friendly - always ready to assist with any issues or questions. Overall, it's a great place to live, and I’m very happy with the quality of life here.

The building management has responded to any problems or issues I’ve raised with immediate help and efficient resolution. They are quick to act, approachable, and professional, which makes living here feel very secure and well-supported.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was told about this before I decided to rent, but one thing I really admire and appreciate is that there are free weekly yoga and pilates classes available for residents. The instructors are fantastic - professional, friendly, and really skilled. It’s a wonderful bonus that truly adds to the sense of community and overall wellbeing here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building is in a prime spot with excellent access to key areas of Manchester. It’s within easy walking distance to Piccadilly Station, the city centre, Ancoats and the Northern Quarter. The nearby canal path offers a scenic route into town. For everyday essentials, Aldi is less than 10 minutes walk away and several local shops stay open late. When it comes to nightlife and dining, you’re spoiled for choice with a wide range of bars and restaurants in Ancoats, the Northern Quarter and the city centre!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any problems or issues since moving in – it’s all been really smooth. Most of our questions have just been about getting set up or figuring out how a few things work in the apartment and when asked, the team have responded quickly and professionally. They’ve been super helpful and made the whole process really easy which has definitely helped us settle in comfortably :)

Our experience with The Castings team has been truly outstanding from the very beginning! We’re really happy that we chose The Castings and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything has gone.

No bad aspects. All incredible. Ancoats is a beautiful place to live. The Castings is in the best possible location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Immediately and so very friendly. Whenever we have an issue, all we have to do is let them know!

I was told everything i needed to know before the move. The team were brilliant.

It’s amazingly central to everything you could ever need! Although you never need to leave as you have everything but everything is on your doorstop with so many fab local businesses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See above but never ever had any issues - they’ve always been fab and prompt with everything

Honestly when we had our viewing we were told everything so nothing was a surprise. If anything, anything new we learned was all positives.
