Description
THE PROPERTY:
The property is approached via a private road just off Newland, and is the last front door in the row of properties. The parking space is located on the side wall of the property.
Once through the handsome timber front door you are greeted by a fair sized entrance hall from which all room can be reached, with the exception of the kitchen. The hall has hard wearing and stylish slate style tiles underfoot which are continued into the bathroom which can be found on your left hand side. There is also a useful nook within a former doorway which makes excellent storage for coats and shoes.
The bathroom is well lit with natural light and enjoys a three piece bathroom suite, with panelled bath and mixer shower over, pedestal hand wash basin and WC and being fully tiled to all splash prone areas. There is a heated towel radiator and storage cupboard for those bathroom essentials.
The living room is off to the right of the entrance hall and enjoys a fair amount of natural light. There is laminate flooring underfoot and a storage alcove but the real joy of this space are the high ceilings complete with period timber beams and the stunning feature fireplace with log burner! The room then moves through into the kitchen.
The kitchen is a good size at the back of the property and offers a door out into the rear courtyard garden. There is a tiled floor underfoot and the kitchen itself is shaped in a horseshoe with a good range of wall and floor fitted units, contemporary worktops over, breakfast bar and space and plumbing for various white goods including a tall fridge freezer. The boiler is wall mounted here.
The bedroom is a superb size and can easily accommodate the double bed alongside substantial bedroom furniture such as large wardrobes etc.
Externally to the rear is a sunny courtyard space, and the property is just a short walk to all of Witney's many and varied amenities.

The cost of these checks is £75 (incl. VAT), which covers the cost of obtaining relevant data and any manual checks and monitoring which might be required. This fee will need to be paid by you in advance of us publishing your property (in the case of a vendor) or issuing a memorandum of sale (in the case of a buyer), directly to Lifetime Legal, and is non-refundable. We will receive some of the fee taken by Lifetime Legal to compensate for its role in the provision of these checks.
SITUATION:
Witney is the largest Oxfordshire Cotswolds town with a long history, appearing as Witenie in the Domesday Book 1086 entry and is now a bustling town supporting two colourful markets a week. Its location on the banks of the River Windrush led to the manufacture of high quality blankets known the world over until the last mill was closed in 2002. The local football club is still known as The blanket men. Much of the town's fine architecture reflects the wealth of the woollen trade in its heyday. The rich variety of shops, street cafes, and excellent sporting facilities coupled with higher order services that include a hospital greatly add to the quality of life. It is also within 6.5 miles of Hanborough (mainline services to Oxford & Paddington with journey times of 9 and 70 minutes respectively) and 12.5 miles of Oxford Parkway (journey time to Marylebone 58 minutes).
