Description

Set in a plot of half an acre, literally surrounded by open countryside and not being visible to any other property, a unique detached cottage of potential, with detached annex and double garage
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

The beauty of this job is that just when you think you can no longer be surprised, the next unexpected twist is just round the corner! This amazing one off home certainly made me smile when I first inspected it, as it is quite literally surrounded by open fields and stands on a lane where in the exact position it enjoys, you literally can't see another house. I can't remember the last house I have encountered like this location wise, it's really superb. Given it is just five minutes drive from Tarporley village, it can truly be said to be an unparalleled position.

Whilst now needing some capital expenditure and modernisation, Hunters Cottage presents a generous and versatile living space. The ground floor boasts an impressive five reception rooms, providing ample space for formal dining, a cozy living area, a home office, or a playroom. The heart of the home is a spacious breakfast kitchen, ideal for casual meals and gathering.

Upstairs, you will find three well-proportioned bedrooms, including a comfortable principal bedroom. A well-appointed family bathroom serves the upstairs accommodation.

The property benefits from a double garage, offering secure parking and additional storage or workshop space whilst there is also a purpose built annexe, that with some completion works could be a fine option for guests, relatives or even as a luxurious work from home space.

Set within a substantial plot of approximately half an acre, the gardens offer expansive outdoor living, enjoying uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. This generous outdoor area provides endless possibilities for gardening, recreation, and simply soaking in the peace and quiet.

Hunters Cottage offers a truly unique lifestyle, blending idyllic rural setting with walks on the doorstep with close convenience to nearby villages. Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the charm and potential this one off home has to offer.
