Description

Built as part of a prestigious development in 2018/19 in the charming village of Worth and surrounded by the Kent countryside, is this superb three storey, beautifully maintained five bedroom residence. It has an attractive exterior with a chimneystack, Georgian style double glazed multi-pane sash and box bay windows and is accessed along a cul-de-sac leading to the driveway and the detached double garage. There is a pathway flanked by lawns bordered by shrubs and hedging and a contemporary front door.

The hallway includes stairs to the upper floors, country oak vinyl flooring that flows through into the kitchen and utility room, a large understairs storage cupboard and a trendy cloakroom. There is a study/playroom with a box bay window overlooking the front of the property and a spacious dual aspect sitting room with a fireplace.

Double wood and glass doors open into the stunning dual aspect family living area. Spanning the width of the property it includes bi-fold doors to the Indian sandstone rear terrace adjacent to the large dining area, a box bay window in the seating area and a superb kitchen. This features a raft of attractive flat fronted units housing upmarket appliances and a central island/breakfast bar as well as an adjacent fitted utility room.

The first floor galleried landing leads to the contemporary family bathroom and three double bedrooms including one with fitted wardrobes and the excellent principal suite with a fitted dressing room and luxurious ensuite bathroom.

On the second floor there are two virtually identical partially vaulted dual aspect double bedrooms with far reaching views to the marshes and serviced by a central shower room.

Outside the large rear terrace is surrounded by a dwarf ‘sleeper' wall and leads to a lawn edged by close board fencing and a brick wall providing privacy and security.

What the Owner says:

The location is quiet and peaceful and very safe for children and pets. As one of the show houses our home has more amenities than other properties and we have added fitted cupboards and bespoke shutters on many of the windows. We enjoy the community atmosphere that includes a residents' association that organises the maintenance of the communal areas and arranges social gatherings.
Worth village includes a Norman church, a village hall and a good primary school as well as St Crispin's pub and the Blue Pigeon hotel. We are near Sandwich, with its championship golf courses, medieval buildings, pubs, hotels, restaurants and independent shops and the station where the fast trains to St Pancras takes under an hour and a half. There is also an excellent junior and grammar school while additional secondary and private schools are available in Dover, Canterbury and Thanet and prep schools are also available in Northbourne and Ash.
We are easily accessible to Deal with its independent shops, eateries, Saturday market and golf courses and close to the main roads for Dover, the Channel Tunnel, Canterbury, London and the Thanet towns.
