5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has both its positives and a few downsides. One of the best things is how well connected it is to transport links. Buses and trains are easily accessible, making commuting or getting around very convenient. The area is also close to Heathrow Airport, which is a huge advantage for frequent travellers. Shops, supermarkets, and other amenities are within easy reach, so running daily errands is quick and simple. There's a good selection of local stores and larger shopping centres nearby. Like many busy areas, traffic can build up during peak times. But overall, the convenience of transport links, accessibility to shops, and proximity to the airport make this a very practical and well-connected place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been very responsive and helpful whenever I’ve raised any issues. They are easy to contact and usually respond quickly, often resolving problems within a short time. They are approachable, friendly, and take residents' concerns seriously, which makes dealing with any issues stress-free. Overall, I’ve been very satisfied with how efficiently and professionally they handle any problems that come up.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that there can be quite a bit of noise from traffic, especially during busy times. You do hear cars honking and the occasional sirens from emergency vehicles, which isn't always noticeable during a short viewing but becomes more apparent once you’ve settled in. That said, the convenience of the location really makes up for it — transport links are excellent, especially for getting to central London and Heathrow. I’d also recommend new neighbours make full use of the on-site gym and amenities — they’re always clean and well maintained, which adds real value to living here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
the best are the transport links, it's very easy to get to London center, but the cons are the traffic noise at all time day and night, the dirty streets, there are no bin letters enough, there are a lot of glass bottles broken everywhere, the green areas are completely neglected, and there are no possibilities (in real life) to get a parking space or to park near of the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
In my experience, since we took the flat I had to report a problem with one of the windows (it doesn't close) they sent someone to check it, but unfortunately he told me that it needed to be fixed from outside and he depended from the management to do the repairs (to get the confirmation), and never happened, the window still doesn't close.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It would have been nice to know that the traffic noise is very loud all day and night, the streets and pavements are always dirty and the green areas outside the building are completely neglected. And that you cannot get a parking space in the building in more than a year, so you have to manage te get a parking (far) because there are no possibilities even on the streets.
Manager's response5Hi Maggy Let me start by thanking you for your kind words about our front-of-house team before addressing some of your main concerns. We’re continually looking at ways to enhance our amenities for residents with pets, while ensuring a comfortable environment for everyone. Providing a dedicated space for pets to relieve themselves has been a particular challenge, but we hope you’ve noticed an overall improvement in our pet offering with the recent introduction of our dog room, which includes washing facilities and a small agility area. It’s fair to say we’ve experienced a recent issue with one of the lifts in the development which has taken longer to resolve than we would have liked. Unfortunately, delays in the necessary repairs were due to specialist part being required, which took time to source. Thankfully, this has now been resolved, and all lifts are fully operational again. Regarding window cleaning, our standard schedule has historically provided two external cleans per year for all apartments. Recently, we’ve increased this to three times annually to enhance the service and to help mitigate the temporary increase in dust caused by the nearby HS2 works. Your windows should have been cleaned twice in the past 12 months, but please feel free to drop by the on-site AWOL office and we’d be happy to go over the specifics with you. We’re also sorry to hear about the maintenance issue with your window. Unfortunately, we’re unable to identify your property from this review alone, but if you could contact a member of the on-site AWOL team directly, we’ll make sure this is promptly looked into and resolved. Thank you again for your honest feedback as it’s essential in helping us continue to improve. Best wishes, The AWOL Team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It's very convenient for public transport( trains) especially and having a small Tesco 1 min walk away. The only annoying thing is the parking and even when friends come and drop something , they get a ticket for just waiting for 5 mins outside, even though they are in the car. the ticket people are not genuine.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, they always willing to help no matter what.Louis at the front Desk always going an extra mile to help me and from observing he treats everyone the same ( well mannered). In the past, the front desk weren't as helpful as him. I'm happy with the level of service it has drastically improved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The tenants are well respectful, and the community and transport links, I would 100% recommend, the only bad thing is the prospect of the building that was sold 3 years ago ( just a bit disappointed)
Manager's response3Dear JP, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are really pleased to hear your kind words about the building and especially your positive experience with Luis at the front desk. we will be sure to pass on your compliments! It's great to hear that you've noticed an improvement in the level of service, and we’re proud of the progress our team has made. Regarding the communal lounge, we understand the importance of shared spaces and we are excited to let you know that a new lounge & co working space is currently under construction. We’re aiming to have it completed by the end of the year. In the meantime, the gym remains available to all residents. If you’d like more information about accessing the gym, please don’t hesitate to speak to our f property management team . We would be happy to assist! We completely understand your frustration with the parking situation, especially when it impacts your visitors. Unfortunately, as the surrounding roads are managed by external parties, parking enforcement is not something we are able to directly control. However, we continue to raise these concerns with the relevant authorities in the hope of encouraging a more balanced approach. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. We’re glad you’re enjoying your experience overall and we remain committed to improving wherever possible to make your living experience even better. The AWOL Team
