Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Whilst the building does not have any shops/restaurants/bars in the immediate vicinity, there is a local convenience store a 5-minute walk away and the building is situated a 15-minute walk to the city centre with the Leeds city bus station nearby. What’s originally grooming to the building? Was the fact that it has secure underground parking which is quite rare in the city centre the facilities of the building are great. It has its own gym and lounge/ social area and bookable meeting rooms. The building is situated near the ambulance station so you can regularly hear ambulance sirens which can be loud, particularly if you’ve got the window open However, when the windows are shut, they really block the noise out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, upon moving in I noticed some very minor snagging issues. I noted them on the portal and they were fixed appropriately and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Given that the building is new, applying for things like council tax and electricity/water accounts is a little tricky given they use different postcodes. for example I use one postcode for council tax and another for utility bills, so it’s just something to be mindful of. Also the size of the apartments are much larger than other ones available in the area. They have large windows both in the bedrooms and in the kitchen so plenty of natural lights in the flat, along with a lovely view looking over the city.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great for access to the city centre, shops, bars and restaurants. It would be ideal if guest parking was available.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any issues or problems in our first month here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we would have known the best available parking for our visiting guests.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on this street is a great experience. There’s a good mix of local shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants all within a short walk, plus a few lovely parks nearby for relaxing or walking the dog. Transport is really convenient, with regular buses and nearby train and tube stations that make getting around easy. The street is quiet and friendly, with a strong sense of community. Parking is usually available, bin collections run smoothly, and there’s very little noise or anti-social behaviour. It’s a clean, safe, and welcoming place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve only had a brief interaction with them and they helped me with a fridge issue and seemed very helpful and friendly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure you check transport roots to and from your place of work beforehand as it’s worth doing

I have zero complaints, everything that is typically an issue in other properties isn’t an issue here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and efficiently. They are always happy to help with anything

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the staff would provide trolled- it really saved us !

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location not too far from the buzz of the city centre with lots of transport connections nearby. There is a main road and main rail line directly next to the property but you don’t notice any noise at all. The views of the skyline of Leeds are some of the best around. There is a unique little ginger beer bar next door which is neat and friendly and a coffee shop opening soon. Had no issues with antisocial behaviour myself.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any problems we’ve had have been raised with quickly. There was a water fault a few weeks ago and reception were incredibly accommodating to everyone in a tricky situation.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Again, minor points but we wish we checked the location of plug sockets. Both double rooms only have one plug socket for the bed so you’ll need extension leads for the other side. In addition the WiFi set up. The actual coverage and speed is brilliant but it’s an online system for the entire complex so you have to create your account and then add everything via a MAC address. A WiFi box for every apartment would have been easier as we’ve had a lot of issues with smart home devices (bulbs etc) that don’t have MAC addresses and needed to return them.
