Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range of shops in the area is quite limited. At the moment, we only have a Co-op, which tends to be expensive. It would be great to have an additional store, like a Tesco Express, to provide more affordable options. I don’t have any issues with traffic noise currently. However, I do have some concerns about the potential increase in traffic once the new houses at the bottom of the road are completed and Southern Cross is opened all the way through. I really love the location of my home, and the neighbors are very friendly — it’s a lovely community. I’ve had no problems with parking. Bin collections haven’t been great in the past, but they are improving.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management have addressed my issues, however I am still waiting on a few responses.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about using Allsop as a landlord, as the process seemed slightly different from the standard rental experience. There was no holding deposit or contract provided until around 4–5 days before I received the keys, which felt quite last-minute and uncertain. As someone who had never rented before, this may partly be due to my own lack of knowledge about the rental market. However, clearer communication and earlier documentation would have helped ease the process and set expectations better.
Manager's response4Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed and constructive feedback ; we truly appreciate it. We’re really pleased to hear that you’re enjoying your home and that the layout and appliances have met your expectations. It’s also great to know you’ve found Natalie’s presence on-site reassuring - she works hard to ensure residents feel supported, and your kind words will mean a lot to her. We’re glad that most of your reported issues have been addressed, and we’ll make sure the remaining items are followed up promptly. Your note about the blinds is appreciated, and we’ll certainly take that on board as we review potential improvements. We also appreciate your comments regarding the move-in process and communication. We understand how important clear, timely information is especially for first-time renters. Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team if you need anything further

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I only have good things to say about my area. We're surrounded by beautiful parks and lakes, the neighbors are great, and there are facilities for everyone, including play areas for kids. I couldn’t ask for more. Even the construction workers are friendly!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been fast and reliable whenever we've raised any issues. They respond promptly and ensure everything is resolved efficiently, which gives us great peace of mind.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known about University Park earlier, it took me a month to discover it! It’s such an amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. I definitely would have started going there from our first week if I had known about it sooner.
Manager's response5Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying your home, the local area, and the building's facilities — and it's especially rewarding to know that our team has made a positive impact on your experience. It’s fantastic to hear that Jess has been so helpful and supportive from day one; we’ll be sure to pass on your lovely comments to her. We're also pleased that you've found our team to be responsive and professional when dealing with any issues providing peace of mind for our residents is one of our top priorities. University Park is a real hidden gem, and we’re so glad you’ve discovered it, even if a little later than you'd hoped! Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback — it really means a lot to us and helps ensure we continue providing a great experience for all our residents.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great open spaces and walking trails for our little Dog. The area would benefit from more local facilities such as a gym, a Swimming pool, restaurants, and convenience stores. The access road is somewhat disappointing. But I believe this is just while the building is ongoing. It has caused many delivery attempts to be aborted and angry uber drivers
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Mustafa Dar has been quick and responsive to any issues that we have come across.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It would be nice to know when the Shetland drive road will be open from all directions.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area we stayed was wonderful, the open areas one can walk was very delightful, specially have dogs. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The CoOp was close and the restaurant had good food. We had double parking available. There was a lot of road work and building still happening, so the house was constantly filled with dust, but we knew that. Only negative thing would be the paint used for the inside of the house. Cleaning the walls was not an option as you will remove the paint with just a single wipe. Also, the people that constantly parked on the street was very annoying because they had parking available off the street. Otherwise ,all good.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues was delt with in time, a few follow-up emails was needed in some cases but overall good.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the paint on the walls are poor quality. Rather paint the walls yourself and just paint over it once you move out.
