Living on my street is generally peaceful and convenient. There’s a good mix of local shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, offering a variety of cuisines and essentials. Several bars nearby add to the area’s social atmosphere without causing too much disruption. Green open spaces are easily accessible, perfect for walks or relaxation. Public transport is reliable, with frequent buses and nearby train stations, though rush hour can get crowded. Parking is limited and often competitive, especially in the evenings. Bin collections are regular, but occasionally missed. Anti-social behaviour is rare, and traffic noise is minimal, making it a comfortable and well-connected place to live overall.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally responded well to issues, usually addressing them within a reasonable timeframe. While there have been occasional delays in communication, most problems—such as maintenance requests or communal area concerns—have been resolved effectively and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how limited the parking availability can be, especially during evenings and weekends—it often requires circling the area for a while. I’d also advise new neighbours to double-check bin collection days, as they’re not always clearly communicated. On the positive side, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the building is, even with nearby bars and restaurants. A helpful tip for newcomers: get to know the property manager early on, as it makes resolving issues much smoother. Also, join any local community groups—they’re great for updates, recommendations, and getting to know your neighbours.

It has a close proximity to the center, easy to get to, along with a theatre being in front of the residence as well as a Sainsburys being available.

How heating works as this was a brand new thing for me

Moda, New York Square is a fabulous location for easy access to all the best bars and restaurants that Leeds has to offer. The Leeds Playhouse and other theatres are very close by too.

Efficiently and effectively at all times. Alex and Ian always do everything they can to resolve all issues as soon as possible

With Moda the old adage, The more you put in, the more you get out, certainly applies - There is a fabulous community here If you make the effort to engage with it.

Sainsburys is in the building, John Lewis and Victoria Gate shopping centre right across the road which is handy. Bus station is nearby and train station isn’t far either but everything in the city centre is walking distance

Haven’t really had any problems but they have answered any questions I’ve had

A tip I’d give new neighbours - get to know the front desk team, they’re super helpful and make a big difference when you have questions or need support

Moda is super close to town centre. It’s been so lovely to be able to walk to and from work and just nip into town. There’s an Aldi not too far and a sainsburys local attached to the building which is fab!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any questions or issues I have had, have been sorted in no more than a day.

Parking on the street can be quite difficult if you don't reserve the car park.
