Description

An attractive period home in a little over 5 acres, found in undeniably one of the most coveted locations in the New Forest National Park.

Greys Farm is a lovely Georgian home in a quite remarkable location; found at the end of a no through lane and overlooking the open New Forest. Thought to date back to the 1760s and with later additions in the 1970s, this property offers plenty of potential. Currently there are four reception rooms, in addition to the kitchen/breakfast room and separate utility/boot room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, plenty of storage options and two bathrooms. If the surrounding 140,000 acres of stunning New Forest are not enough, the well tended gardens and adjoining paddocks amount to a little over 5 acres in total. There are garages, a range of outbuildings, a large open barn and a stable block suitable for many types of use. This is a beautifully located, beautifully balanced mini Estate... offering a lifestyle that precious few are fortunate to experience. A rare package indeed.

Greys Farm is situated in the sought after village of Brook and with the facilities in the adjoining village of Bramshaw comprising a general store/post office, village hall, two public houses and two golf courses. Access to the M27 is close by at Cadnam, just over a mile distant and Lyndhurst with its more comprehensive range of facilities about five miles to the south. The major centres of Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury and Winchester are all within about a half hour drive.

New Forest District Council - Band G

Mains water and electricity are connected to the property. Drainage is private and an oil fired boiler provides heating and hot water.

From Romsey, proceed to Ower and take the M27 west leaving the motorway at Junction 1 to Cadnam. At Cadnam follow the signs for Brook and Bramshaw and after about 3/4 of a mile take the first turning on the left into Canterton Lane. Continue along the lane until it becomes a gravel track. Greys Farm will be found at the far end on the right hand side.
