Our application process has often been compared to that of a mortgage application. We carry out all referencing in-house and ask all applicants to provide three months bank statements so we may assess how they manage their money - it is pointless knowing someone earns £40,000 if you are unaware of how they spend it! We also (where practical) visit the applicants current address so we may see how they look after the property rather than just relying on a landlord reference.
