5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I'm so happy living at Platform Edinburgh, right in the heart of Leith Walk. I moved in 4 months ago and it has been a wonderful experience so far. The location is fantastic, everything is nearby and well connected. My children attend Broughton Primary School, which is just a 3 minute drive away, making our daily routine much easier.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The only suggestion I would offer is to improve the internal communication within the administrative team. Sometimes it feels like enquiries are passed between different people, which can lead to confusion or the need to follow up more than once to get a clear answer. A bit more consistency and organisation in this area would make the experience even better.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just to be patient during the application process, that's all I would advice.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s overall very good but the tram station is about 15 minutes away so it’s a bit of a walk. Noise is only from seagulls and that’s just Edinburgh so it’s fine. There’s a park nearby and in 10 minutes walking you can find cafes and restaurants
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’re generally responsive when you raise issues, they get back to you pretty quickly most of the time. I had a small issue in the bathroom and they did take a bit long to handle it and didn’t do it thoroughly the first time around, but they sorted it out eventually. The electrical meter thing I mentioned before also took some back and forth. So it’s a mixed bag really - they do respond but sometimes you need to follow up to get things done properly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The postcode is quite new so some people or companies may not find it right away when you’re trying to get deliveries or services set up. Had a few delivery drivers get a bit confused at first and some online forms didn’t recognize it straight away. Nothing major but just something to keep in mind when you’re moving in and setting up utilities and stuff. Other than that it’s pretty straightforward really.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a lot of good local shops, restaurants, bars and open space around. Very quick walk down to Leith Shore and there is many good little spots, especially in the summer when the suns out and you can sit outside! Transport links are good, the tram stop is not far away and there is bus links incredibly close by. The parking has been spot on, never had an issue with it and very much appreciate this aspect of living here! Never encountered anti social behaviour or traffic noise, it seems to be a relatively quiet development which I absolutely love.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue within the first 2 days I moved in where my washing machine caused a leak. I had maintenance come up immediately and got the issue sorted which was greatly appreciated! The only other issue I have had with this apartment is that my cooker hob stopped working. I was offered a vacant flat to cook my meals whilst it was getting sorted out which again is a fantastic level of service snd fully appreciate them going above and beyond. I had one other issue since moving in, when I received a noise complaint back in January. However, not only was I not home, I was working a night shift (the complaint was at night) and I was working outside of Edinburgh and was staying in a hotel for the week. I showed this evidence to management and they recognised there must have been a mistake (as I live alone and no one else has access to my apartment). But the level of understanding and swift action of getting that also resolved was greatly appreciated and I can fully understand that mistakes can happen!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly, nothing extra that I can think of. The viewing was very informative, and the staff have always been hands on and taken care of anything and answered any questions I had.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The good part of being in this area is it’s quiet and friendly. Surrounding areas are also clean. Local amenities are within 5-10 mins walking distance. You can find Tesco, coop or Sainsbury within 10 mins walking distance. Park is just within 5 mins walk, which I really enjoy on the sunny days. Bus stop is 3-5 mins walk depending on which block you are in. Nothing has bad aspects but at night the surroundings are very quiet and sometimes I see a fox roaming around which scares me a bit.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
So far I didn’t encounter any problems or issues so it’s not something I can answer.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew about the bus services as it’s only 3 bus services here. Also, I wish I knew about the nearby surroundings in more details.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Bus routes , it would have been easier if more buses were connected to other routes from Andersons place.
