Seller's view-
Alston Walk will always hold a special place in our hearts. It’s been our cherished family home for over 20 years, filled with countless precious memories. The street itself is peaceful and quiet, with a warm and welcoming community. We’ve been fortunate to have such kind and friendly neighbours over the many years.

The house is full of character and has always had a cosy, homely feel. Over the years, we’ve carefully maintained and updated it to a high standard, creating a comfortable and practical space for family life. One of our favourite areas has been the kitchen/diner, where we’ve shared meals and celebrations with family and friends.

There’s generous storage throughout, which has been a real bonus with a growing family, including several cupboards and a handy downstairs cloakroom tucked away at the back. The garden is low-maintenance and thoughtfully arranged with various seating areas perfect for relaxing. It’s also a haven for birds and butterflies, which we’ve loved watching over the years. The separate garden studio adds a real sense of seclusion and flexibility, ideal for quiet working or creative projects.

We’ve especially appreciated the location being so close to the riverside has been wonderful, whether for peaceful walks or just enjoying the natural surroundings. Caversham offers a great selection of local eateries, shops, and leisure facilities, and we’ve loved the convenience of being just a short walk or bus ride from Reading town centre and Reading train station.

Leaving Alston Walk is a bittersweet decision; we would have happily stayed for many more years. However, a change in circumstances means we’re now selling.

This home has been perfect for us, and we truly believe it will be just as special for its next owners ideal for couples or young families looking for a warm and welcoming place to create their own memories.
