WHAT THE OWNER SAYS
"“We’ve absolutely loved living here, it’s been the perfect home for our family. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is where we’ve shared so many meals and celebrations, and the living room with the log burner is the cosiest spot on winter evenings. Having two bathrooms has been a lifesaver as the kids have grown, and the bedrooms have always felt spacious.

The garden has been such a big part of our life here, the kids have spent countless hours playing outside, and we’ve enjoyed summer BBQs with friends and neighbours. Speaking of neighbours, we couldn’t have asked for better, it really does feel like a little village community, even though we’re so close to the city.

We love that we can walk to the city centre, university, hospitals, and all the great shops, cafes and parks in Walkley and Crookes. Plus, with good schools nearby and the Peak District just a short drive away, it’s been the ideal spot for family life. Honestly, if we hadn’t outgrown it, we wouldn’t be looking to move!”

Tucked away on a quiet street, this charming home is all about cosy living and connection, the kind of place where you’ll want to spend time, whether it’s quiet evenings by the fire or summer weekends in the garden.

Step through the front door into a warm and welcoming living room, where a bay window fills the space with natural light. The chimney breast, with its stone lintel, exposed brickwork and woodburner, creates a focal point that sets the tone for the rest of the house, characterful, inviting, and made for relaxing.

At the back, the dining room and kitchen flow together seamlessly, creating a sociable heart to the home. There’s room for a big dining table, perfect for family meals or friends gathered for dinner, while another woodburner, flanked by storage cupboards, adds to the atmosphere. Exposed floorboards give the room a natural warmth, and from here you can step straight into the kitchen, and there’s also access down to the cellar, currently used for handy storage.

Extended by a previous owner, the kitchen has a practical L-shaped layout with plenty of storage and workspace. A window above the sink looks out onto the garden, and the set-up is ideal for anyone who loves to cook, with space for a range cooker, wine fridge, and washing machine.

Upstairs, the first floor has a generous double bedroom to the front, complete with a built-in cupboard, and a large single bedroom at the back overlooking the garden. The bathroom is spacious and well-planned, with a bath and shower above, WC, washbasin and towel radiator.

On the top floor, there is a light-filled double bedroom, with a Velux window at the rear. An en suite shower room makes this an ideal space for guests, older children, or even a main bedroom retreat.

Outside, the garden really completes the lifestyle on offer here. There’s a small forecourt at the front, but it’s the rear garden that steals the show, a surprisingly large space divided into different sections to suit how you want to live. A patio sits just outside the kitchen door for easy outdoor dining, followed by a lawn that invites picnics and play. Beyond that, a low-maintenance area has been used as a play zone for kids, and right at the end, beds are ready for anyone who wants to grow their own fruit and veg.

This is more than just a house, it’s a home that lends itself to a slower pace, long evenings by the fire, and sunny weekends in the garden.
