Listed Building and TPO
The property is Grade II Listed by virtue of the occupation by Edward Joseph Lowe who was a renowned astronomer, botanist and founder member of the Royal Meteorological Society. The house was built in the 1940s. In the 1850s is was adapted to include an observatory and a rotating cupola roof above where the current entrance to the building is.
