Location
Glewstone is a small village around three miles from Ross-on-Wye, a popular market town. The high street features an assortment of shops, independently-owned boutiques, a range of restaurants, welcoming pubs and various leisure facilities. There are also several supermarkets plus four schools in the town - three primaries and one secondary, all of which boast 'Good' Ofsted ratings.

Glewstone itself includes the esteemed Glewstone Court Country House which houses a two Rosette-award restaurant, The Cedar Tree.

The home at a glance.
The Yeld is tucked away from a quiet country lane behind a gated entrance and large gated gravelled driveway.

The front entrance leads into a spacious reception hall - and it is worth noting that each of the rooms on the ground floor of the property all benefit from underfloor heating. The first door on the right leads into a cloakroom and beyond this, there is a utility room which gives space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a sink and storage cupboards. Beyond this, there is an expansive boot room, which can also be accessed from the rear garden. This boot room is an excellent detail that really supports the countryside lifestyle; there is plenty of room to take off muddy boots, coats, et cetera, but there is also a large and low-level Belfast sink, which provides a handy dog-cleaning station.

Both reception rooms feature bay windows which overlook the spectacular view of the nearby hills, fields and woodland beyond the immaculately-kept rear garden. The largest reception room is used as the sitting room and plenty of natural light cascades into this dual-aspect space. Meanwhile, the smaller reception room is presently used as an office but could serve as a music room, playroom or snug if required.

The heart of the home is a substantial open-plan kitchen/dining room which gives plenty of space for families and guests to gather altogether while meals are prepared. This beautifully bright space features two sets of bi-fold doors - one on each side of the dining area. The kitchen includes a ceramic hob, a double oven, an integrated dishwasher and soft-close cupboards. There is also space for an American-style fridge/freezer.

The staircase leads to the first floor of the property and its galleried landing which gives plenty of room to create an additional home office space if required.

The four bedrooms are found on this level of the property and the dual aspect master bedroom is a good size and includes an en-suite shower room, complete with a walk-in shower - featuring both a drench shower head as well as a handset - plus a vanity unit, WC, illuminated mirror and chrome-heated towel rail.

The second bedroom, which carries an excellent view of the surrounding countryside, also includes an en-suite shower room, almost identical to that in the master bedroom.

The remaining two bedrooms are both able to accommodate double beds, although one is presently utilised as a study.

The attractive family bathroom features another walk-in, dual-head shower, plus a roll top bath, vanity unit, WC and chrome-heated towel rail.
