Description

BRICKWORKS SAYS

Laid on the ground floor of a handsome Edwardian conversion, this two-bedroom flat brims with Victorian charm and charisma. Original features highlight its heritage, while the bathroom adds a modern touch that is both bold yet respectful of the home's history. Two bedrooms provide flexibility: a good-sized double and a smaller room that could easily function as a study, nursery, or guest space.

Stepping outside, the garden is enchanting. Stretching back and wrapped in lush greenery, it's a calming escape in the heart of North London. At its far end, a pear tree marks the seasons—from blossom in spring to branches heavy with fruit by late summer. Inside, the flat reflects this seasonal rhythm: airy and sunlit in warmer months, then cosy and inviting when winter arrives.

Crouch End's village-like vibe has been putting people under its spell for years. It has all you could possibly want right on your doorstep, from perfect pastries at Sourdough Sophia to seriously delicious feasts at Les 2 Garçons and everything in between. Spend Sundays wandering Alexandra Palace Farmers' Market or take a run in one of its many parks. It's a community brimming with energy and charm—just like the flat itself.

THE OWNERS SAY

This flat has been such a happy home for us. It’s been a great space for entertaining friends and family, whether in the sunny living room or in the garden, which opens directly from the kitchen and is brilliant for barbecues. Over time, we’ve found real joy in transforming the garden into our own little oasis – the ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine after work.

The neighbourhood has been a big plus too. There’s a genuine sense of community on Nightingale Lane, and people get involved in local projects, including a community garden. Being between Alexandra Palace and Priory Park means having a choice of two fantastic green spaces, with central Crouch End and Muswell Hill still nearby.

We’ll be very sad to leave, but we know this flat will bring the next owners as much happiness as it has brought us.
