Mirovets itself is a pleasant and friendly village with a small shop and a bus service to Targovishte. One of the highlights of the village year is the annual pancake festival, featuring folk music, dancing and plenty to eat and drink besides pancakes.

One of the attractions of Mirovets village is its lovely setting. You can walk from the village into the surrounding countryside and visit the nearby Beli Lom Resevoir or, further afield, explore the provincial towns of Targovishte, Shumen and Razgrad and the myriad of villages in between.

In addition to this, Mirovets has extremely easy access to the main A2 highway, meaning you can be in Varna - with its airport offering direct flights to London - within an hour or so.
