Finished simply in white with stripped floor boards, the property has a stylish, contemporary feel throughout. Accommodation includes on the ground floor, two spacious receptions rooms, a well proportioned 18' kitchen/diner and at the rear of the house a downstairs bathroom and guest w/c.
On the first floor there are three good sized bedrooms, two of which are large double rooms with the master bedroom measuring 15'3 x 11'5 and a further modern three piece shower room.
Grove Road is a quiet side turning equidistant of both The Victoria Line and Overground Rail at Walthamstow Central and also the tranquillity of Walthamstow Village - around a 10 minute walk away - with its quirky independent shops, eateries and Vestry House Museum. The area is also well served with a wide choice of schooling. The property also has the benefit of double glazing and also has the potential to extend into the loft, subject to the usual permissions.
What the owners say
We have been here since 2014, and will be sorry to leave. The street is friendly and welcoming and has a neighbourly feel - we all look out for each other.
There's plenty to do within walking distance including the Queens Arms, which serves a great Sunday lunch and the Nags Head, if you want a cheeky glass of red.
There's also lots of quirky independent shops in the village, the new fruit and veg shop being the most recent addition, and a new bakery on Hoe Street to grab hot coffee and freshly baked croissants.
Hollow Ponds (Epping Forest border) is a great natural space for children and dogs to explore. We are a short walk away from several other parks including Lloyd Park and St James'.
Transport links are great - you can get into the West End on the Victoria line in 30 minutes and to Liverpool Street on the Overground in 20 minutes.
