Description
BRICKWORKS SAYS
This first-floor flat is located within a timeless Edwardian terrace, with three bedrooms spread across two floors, including a converted loft. The layout is practical and flexible, with bedrooms that can adapt to your needs as they evolve and change over time, whether as a workspace, a den for the kids, or a creative area for grown-ups. Architectural details like angled and curved walls add interest, while recent adaptations bring the home up to modern levels of comfort without compromising its period appeal.
At the heart of the home is a bright, inviting eat-in kitchen that leads to the garden via external steps. The south-west facing outdoor space includes a newly laid lawn, a patio, and a plum tree. It offers a rich canvas for budding gardeners and a relaxing space for summer evenings with friends.
Life on Barrington Road has a real community spirit—neighbours know one another, and the street is peaceful and welcoming. Nearby, leafy Highgate and Queens Wood offer woodland walks, while Alexandra Palace Park provides unbroken views of the London skyline along with a roster of sporting and artistic events throughout the year. On top of that, you are minutes on foot from Crouch End, one of North London's true villages within the city, full of independent shops to explore and places to eat, drink, and enjoy. Thanks to the people who call it home, it has retained an energy and atmosphere unlike anywhere else we know.
THE OWNERS SAY
Our flat has been a wonderful home. We love the airy, bright feel throughout, and enjoy the privacy from being on the first floor, and the garden that gets sun all afternoon.
It’s amazing being so close to a variety of green spaces - Priory Park is on the doorstep, and we regularly walk to Queen's Wood for the café, Alexandra Palace for the farmer's market or Hampstead Heath for something a little longer. The Parkland Walk is a great circular running route too.
Crouch End offers a unique balance of easy accessibility to the city, whilst retaining its village-like feel. The pubs and restaurants are great, the coffee is even better and, whilst we will be sad to leave, we hope that the flat will become a well-loved home for the next owners.
