This home has been a safe haven for me and my daughter. As a single mum moving back to my hometown with an 18-month-old, this house and estate was everything I dreamed of for us. The community has been nothing short of wonderful, with kind neighbours who look out for one another, take in parcels, and help create a true sense of belonging. I’ve always felt safe here, and the quiet, friendly neighbourhood has been the perfect place to call home.

I once thought this would be our forever home, but as life has moved forward and we’ve become a blended family, we’ve simply outgrown the space. While I’ll be sad to leave, I hope the next family will feel the same happiness, comfort, and security here, and make this their forever home too.

Our seller has perfectly summed up why not only is this a great home, but a great location too and perfect for families. Finchwood Park is such a popular development and the quality of Legal and General built homes here are superb... This one is no different. This design of home is one of our favourites and comes complete with some excellent upgrades with our seller having been here since it was new.

Not only is this home impressive looking from the outside, but the internal space is even better. Our seller has really looked after the house and it is ready to move straight into. The central and very spacious entrance hall welcomes you in, you immediately notice the high ceilings giving a great sense of space. The cloakroom to the left has been finished nicely and also has a window, but the open living room is a great place to relax with the bi-folding doors leading onto the garden. It also benefits from a separate space which is currently set up as a playroom but could make an ideal work from area.

On the opposite side of the hallway you have the kitchen/dining room which has lots of natural light due to the dual aspect windows and french doors onto the patio. The kitchen is a great specification with full integrated Bosch appliances, solid stone worktops and plenty of storage space. Outside as you can see from the details, the garden is a superb size and very private making it an ideal entertaining area for those warmer months. You've also got the addition of the shed and rear access straight onto the carport which has power behind the house.

Area View...
The home sits tucked away at the end of the development with a corner plot, not far from some green space which is very rare for a newly build house. This is such a fantastic location, Finchwood Park is very desirable with acres of woodland walks right on your doorstep. There is such a great community here coupled also with great school catchments including the popular Bohunt Secondary School. Although this is right on the bus route, both Reading and Wokingham Town Centre are only a short 20 minute drive away where you have a huge variety of amenities including a popular retailers, coffee shops, supermarkets and pubs. There is also a Co-op only a 5 minute drive away for your everyday essentials, but even closer you have the newly opened Sainsbury's with the community centre set to be finished soon too. You also have some fantastic transport links into London with easy access onto the A329, M3 and M4 from here.
