From here, the view across the town is completely uninterrupted. A further set of steps lead up to the southern boundary with a gate to Well Path. Situation
Set in the heart of this pretty market town on the banks of the River Avon, there are far-reaching elevated views across the valley. There is convenient access on foot to the many shops, boutiques and restaurants in the town. There are a wide selection of country walks to neighbouring villages with the Kennet and Avon canal a short distance away and the railway station less than a half a mile walk. Mainline trains run to Weymouth and Bristol, with Bath only a 10 minute journey away. Ease of access is also provided to London Paddington. The number of quaint shops, pubs, and tea rooms in the town are too numerous to mention, but a joy to explore and find. Bristol Airport is less than a 30 mile drive or a transfer bus can be found at Bath Spa railway station.
