LOCATION Whitfield is situated in attractive South Northamptonshire countryside on the border of North Buckinghamshire and is traversed by the River Great Ouse. The Parish Church of St John the Evangelist is documented to have been built in 1869-70 on the site of a much older 13th century church. The village also has a public house serving food and a village hall. The market towns of Brackley and Towcester are nearby for everyday facilities including Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets and leisure centres.
