Situation

This country property lies within the attractive and protected countryside around the village of Churt in a scattered rural community on the Surrey/Hampshire border, renowned for its National Trust land and designated as an Area of Great Landscape Value (AGLV) and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) within the Green Belt. Closeby are Hankley Common and Churt Common with The Devil’s Jumps and The Flashes and this linking with Frensham Common and Frensham Ponds providing excellent walking and riding country and a sailing club. Churt village centre is about about 2.5 miles, a popular, thriving village with a sense of community and a village green with church, infant and nursery schools, inn, village shop with post office, restaurant, garage, recreation field with pavillion for cricket and football clubs, tennis club and a range of village societies and organisations. A ‘bus service connects the old country towns of Farnham and Haslemere with regular trains to Guildford and London Waterloo in under an hour. Access to Heathrow and Gatwick airports is via the A3/M25. Golf courses including Hankley Common and Hindhead are closeby and Chichester Harbour is about 30 miles.
