The park is located on Wellington Road, in the village of Muxton on the north eastern fringe of Telford. Telford is a town developed in the 1960's and 1970's by the amalgamation and expansion of a number of settlements approximately 20 miles north west of the West Midlands conurbation. Muxton is an expanding part of Telford close to the Shropshire countryside and the village of Lilleshall. The town of Newport is some 4 miles. Road communications are excellent with the A4518 accessed from Wellington Road and junctions 4 and 5 of the M54 both within 6 miles. Telford Central train station is approximately 5 miles and provides services to Birmingham New Street and International and Shrewsbury and north Wales.

There is a bus stop outside the park with hourly services to Telford town centre.
