Alcoentre is a small parish of central Portugal between Rio Maior and Alenquer, with agriculture, wine production, and commerce as the main economic activities.
Rio Maior is a municipality of exquisite natural beauty, close to mountain ranges and beautiful landscapes. It offers a wide range of options in traditional foods, culture, sports and nature trails and experiences. It is well known for its salt, explored for more than 8 centuries in the region, artisanal pottery and weaving and traditional sausages.
