It has a unique layout with an open-plan living and kitchen space upstairs, which benefits from plenty of natural light. You can watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset thanks to the dual-aspect windows. This is our favourite room as the space lends itself to hosting meals and parties with friends. This allows them to stay over without it feeling cramped. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a huge workspace, a double sink and integrated white goods for a sleek finish.
The two double bedrooms are generously sized, with large windows and an inbuilt double wardrobe in the second bedroom. We have been spoiled for storage in this flat: three large inbuilt cupboards are set along the corridor. With their large dimensions, they could be used as a home office or nursery, or have potential for expanding the second bedroom or adding a W.C.
Being set over two floors and having so much space means it feels more like a house than a flat. With only four flats in the building, we have a strong sense of community between neighbours. To the rear of the building, we have a private car park, which is gated and has allocated parking spaces for each flat. Internally, our communal spaces allow us to safely store bikes and prams.
Our initial attraction to the area was how close we are to lovely Wandle Park and the town centre, as well as the excellent public transport links (Overground, National Rail and Tramlink) from West Croydon (10-minute walk) and East Croydon (20-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride) with fast links to Victoria, London Bridge and Gatwick, direct trains to Cambridge and Brighton and all the adventures to be found up and down the Windrush Line."
