** PLEASE NOTE AI TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN USECD ON SOME PHOTOS - SO PLEASE VIEW THE HOME BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER **
There's something magical about living by the sea, the fresh air, the lovely walks along the beach, the sound of excited kids (and adults), amusement arcades, hotdogs and all the other life that it brings along.
Now, here's your chance to live just a short walk away from one of the best known Seaside Towns in the North West.....I mean who didn't go to Rhyl as a kid!! When the sun is out, this place is thriving, and it's all yours, just a stones throw away.....although please don't try this, it is illegal.
As we pull up outside No.59a, see it's already different to everyone else's typical boring numbers, there's a large stone and wrought iron fence that shields it from the road, not that it's a busy road, before you start asking. Large double gates open up to reveal an impressive parking area. One thing you won't be, is short of parking spaces.
As we close the gates behind us, more parking down the front of the home, that also leads to the rear garden, where more parking is available. So, if you are looking to start a garage**, need a place for a large motorhome like the present owner has, or you just like empty space at the front and side of the home, then may I suggest you keep reading.
There's also a large internal garage for more cars, although I do believe that most people just use them as storage now-a-days, in which case, there's plenty of storage space. If you went for planning, you could possibly convert this garage into more living space, although wait until you see inside the house, I think there's more than enough room in there for now!
** I'm only kidding about starting a garage before you start the application
Another set of gates open into an open grass and treelined area, so it's nice and quiet, as directly behind the house, is a very peaceful cemetery. In all the times I've been here, I've not heard a peep.
The front door opens to a very generous internal porch area, which if I'm honest, is mush larger than most peoples entrance hallways. It's kept nice and bright thanks to the many windows in here. A beautiful solid wooden floor welcomes you and sets the tone of what to expect as we go along. There is ample space for wet shoes, hats, coats, etc....to be honest, I was half expecting a coat attendant to take my jacket when I walked in, don't worry, I had my change ready to give them! Lovely decorative cornicing adds another touch of class to this home.
So much to say, and we haven't even walked into the hallway yet....!
Through the stylish glass door, we step into the hallway, where the beautiful wooden floor continues. As you'd expect, this is another large space, with more stylish glass doors opening to all of the ground floor accommodation, as you'd expect. There's a rather lovely wooden turned staircase leading to the....well, I'm sure you've worked that out buy now! Estate agents always love to point the obvious out.....and if you haven't worked it out by now, maybe you should be looking for a Bungalow!
The first door that we come to, just past the stairs, opens to a large understairs cupboard. This will take a huge amount of coats and clutter, so you can keep that minimalistic feel to this fabulous home.
Moving around clockwise, we come to the impressive kitchen / breakfast room. I'm not going to say dining room this time, as there is another room that has been set aside for that particular role. This kitchen could easily become the dining area, it's vast and able to take a large table and chairs for any occasion.
There is also a breakfast bar that divides the kitchen into two sections. Here you can have bar stools for casual dining, a quick breakfast, coffee mornings or just a place to chat while your other half slaves away cooking the extravagant feast that must be created in here. A large window, must stop using the word large but everything in this house is....large! Anyway, this window looks out over the rear aspect, the Cemetery, which is really rather pretty, considering.
At the other end of the kitchen is the working part, oven, hob, voids for washing machine, dishwasher, even a 'big' space for an American Fridge Freezer. There are loads of floor and wall mounted storage cupboards, in fact, so many, you'll probably rent some out to your neighbours for extra cash! Work surfaces cover four walls, you'll never run out of a place to prepare food or even store some of the many 21st Century Gadgets that we've become so reliant on today. A double window and glass panel door looks out over the side garden area. A tiled floor runs the full length of the kitchen, making for easy cleaning.....it might be time to invest in one of those robot hoovers, it was made for a space 'like this'.
At the opposite end of the kitchen is the utility room. The fully serviced boiler is housed in here as well as a selection of floor and wall mounted units, a worksurface and another very handy sink. This is a great place if you have kids, or dogs and they come back dirty. A door opens to the large garage, that offers potential to convert if you really need more space**, and another door opens to the cloakroom.
** planning may be required so please check first
Again, this is no ordinary cloakroom, this is a shower room too. Tiled from floor to ceiling, there's a large , there I go again, double shower cubicle with a rainforest head and also a hand held attachment, you know, for those harder to reach places. Then we have a contemporary pedestal wash hand basin, the obligatory toilet and a feature chromed heated towel rail, to keep your towels nice and toasty throughout the winter months.
If we head back to the hallway, the next room that we come to is the dining room. The wood floor continues on in here, as does the intricate cornicing on the ceiling, as well as a central rose for the light fitting. This room is kept very bright courtesy of the two glass panel doors that open into the lounge, as well as the door into the lounge, and then a final pair of patio doors that open to the rear garden.
As I mentioned before, the kitchen is large enough to house a large dining table and chairs and could easily fulfil the role of the dining room. So, if you wanted a bedroom five downstairs, this would be very easy to convert. Remember, you have a downstairs shower room, so for an elderly or disabled relative, this could be a great add on.
Through the double doors and into the lounge now. Here, we have another great space with the cornicing, ceiling rose and wooden floor, this house certainly does not resemble a home built this century. At almost 20ft x 15ft, it offers triple aspect windows allowing ample natural light to flood in. Another set of fabulous glass double doors, take you back into the entrance hallway.
To the first floor landing and again, the landing is big, you'll never feel claustrophobic in this house. Turning left and walking around the first floor in a clockwise motion, the first door opens to the main bedroom.
At almost 20ft x 14ft, I rounded this up slightly, but even if I rounded it down, at 19ft x 13ft it's still huge, and there's an en-suite in there that I haven't included in these measurements, that is bigger than 8ft x 8ft!! If that wasn't enough, there is also a walk in dressing room in here, this is the dream bedroom for most. It's massive and can take any sized double bed and other auxiliary free standing furniture that you may require.
The en-suite has a large glass shower cubicle that can comfortably take two people, saving on water usage. There's a larger than average vanity sink unit with ample storage below, a freestanding toilet, heated chrome towel rail and to finish the room off, a frosted window. This keeps the room bright with natural light, and keeps prying eyes out - no it's not that kid of area!
Back into the hallway and we come to the fourth bedroom. Usually, when you think of the fourth bedroom, you imagine small. Not in this house, this is probably most people's main bedrooms. There is ample space for a large bed and wardrobes s well as bedside tables and other bits and pieces. The window keeps it nice and bright as well as offering lovely views.
The next bedroom along is still a massive double bedroom, larger then the one we were just in and that was large. It also has a large fitted mirrored wardrobe that runs the full length of one wall. You're still able to fit a massive double bed in here as well as plethora of other furniture, without making much of a dent on the space. The window again looks out over the beautiful cemetery.
Now we come to the family bathroom, and what a bathroom this is. Another spacious room, tiled from floor to ceiling for easy maintenance and fitted with a modern stylish contemporary suite. We have a corner shower unit, a fitted panelled spa bath, pedestal wash hand basin, a WC, a chromed heated towel rail and a window that's frosted to allow light in. As you'd expect, there's room in here for more storage units or whatever you feel may be missing.
Alongside the family bathroom sits bedroom two, another generously sized room, but this one has an added feature, another ren-suite. So, either the favourite or eldest child, which ever comes first, will be thrilled to have this room. If anything, this will cause a rift in the family, but there's usually one of those in every home, so let them fight it out! Space in here for everything you'll ever need in a bedroom, and some.
The en-suite comprises of a glass shower cubicle, pedestal wash hand basin and a toilet, a chrome heated towel rail to keep you cosy throughout the winter, and of course a frosted window to reflect the light levels. Tiled from floor to ceiling, this is an added piece of luxury for any guest or child lucky enough to have it.
The final room that we come to is, surprisingly, the smallest of the home. I'd say it would make a great walk in wardrobe for bedroom two, or a nursery, an office or a fabulous games room. If you needed a place for storage, then this could be used, but then again, there is a massive attic space that that's designed for. A window lets the light in and offers views over the front aspect.
The rear garden, or side garden as would described it better, is low maintenance and ideal if you hate gardening. A patio runs the full width of the home, offering ample space for garden furniture, as well as BBQ equipment. If you're a sun worshiper then this is the perfect place to pull up the sun lounger and just lounge. There is a raised decking area, ideal for a HOT Tub or more garden furniture, whichever takes your fancy. A wooden fence boarders the garden and at one end is a large outbuilding, idea for storing all of your garden requirements. An artificial grass area runs along with the fence, making it feel more like a garden, but without the burden.
This whole house is geared towards entertaining large gatherings, be it friends or family or both. The rooms are large enough to cater for a lot of people, or if you just love space
