Nottingham Community Housing Association Ltd has been working with Almshouse charities for over 20 years, providing a wide range of services.

In 2008, NCHA Ltd formed a new charity, Nottingham Community Almshouse Charity, which combines seven of its Nottingham-based subsidiary charities into one amalgamated charity. This streamlines the governance and the administration of the charities and provides a vehicle for new charities to be absorbed into the NCHA Group.

Maintenance contributions
The maintenance contribution of £116 per week is payable monthly by direct debit. The amount is reviewed by the Trustee annually. The amount you pay covers part of the cost of running the Almshouses and includes repairs and maintenance, buildings insurance, and the upkeep of the garden.

The maintenance contribution is the charity's only source of revenue; Nottingham Community Housing Association as trustee is not allowed to subsidise the cost of running the homes.

The first month's maintenance contribution must be paid in advance, your direct debit will commence on the 1st day of the second full month.
