Description

A Note from the Homeowner

I bought 30 Jay Close mainly for its location. I was working in Bracknell at the time, and the easy access to the M4 and surrounding motorways made commuting straightforward. The excellent bus links into Reading were another strong advantage, especially for reaching the train station. Later, when I moved to a company in Reading town centre, those links became even more valuable.

I was also drawn to the peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Jay Close is a quiet residential road with a pleasant sense of community. I always enjoyed the nearby walking routes and having local shops within a short walk.

I eventually moved out of the area due to a change in my personal interests. I developed a keen interest in the outdoors from home, including gardening, a vegetable patch and beekeeping, and felt multiple hives wouldn’t be ideal for neighbours in a suburban garden.

The property has served me well, both as a home and as a rental, and I feel this is the right moment to sell. It will make a comfortable home for its next owner or a solid option for someone looking to rent it out.

From me, the agent.

A three bedroom semi-detached home set in a quiet and tucked-away Lower Earley close within the Maiden Erlegh catchment is in need of a bit love, but offers a great opportunity to add value and create a wonderful family home. The property offers an open-plan lounge/diner, downstairs WC, access to the integral garage (prime for a conversion) .

Upstairs, there is a spacious double and 2 large singles and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite to the master), driveway parking for one car, opportunity for a second and a sunny private rear garden with side access. Some areas would benefit from light updating, giving buyers scope to personalise the home to their own taste.
