Description
Extending to approximately 1,311 sq. ft, this home offers well-balanced accommodation, a west-facing garden, single garage, and driveway parking just a walk or short drive from the heart of Bromyard.
The ground floor is both stylish and welcoming, offering thoughtfully arranged living spaces ideal for modern family life and entertaining. A bright, contemporary kitchen overlooks the garden and is complemented by a separate utility room with doors to the garden and the garage. With a desirable south-west aspect, the kitchen and garden enjoy abundant natural light from midday through to the evening.
The impressive sitting room spans the depth of the house and provides a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, featuring a charming log burner and glazed doors opening onto the terrace and garden. A perfect setting for both entertaining and quiet evenings at home.
The family room offers excellent versatility but would be equally suited as a formal dining room or home office. A welcoming entrance hallway and a discreet cloakroom and shoe cupboard complete the ground floor.
The first floor hosts four well-proportioned bedrooms. The principal bedroom benefits from a wall of fitted wardrobes and a handy en-suite shower room with a front-facing window. From here, there are beautiful open views across the surrounding Herefordshire countryside.
Bedroom two is a generous double overlooking the rear garden with fitted wardrobes, while bedroom three also a comfortable double enjoys similarly attractive front-facing views. Bedroom four is ideal as a single bedroom, nursery or dedicated home office.
The family bathroom is well-appointed with a bath and electric Triton shower over.
OUTSIDE
The property is approached via a driveway providing parking for two vehicles, leading to a single garage with power, lighting and excellent storage, including eaves space and room for a workbench.
The west-facing rear garden is level, private and exceptionally sunny from midday onwards. Laid mainly to lawn with a terrace ideal for outdoor dining, it offers a peaceful and practical outdoor space for families and entertaining alike. Side access leads from the driveway and a garden shed provides further storage.
Set within a quiet and sought-after cul-de-sac, No.18 Oak Close enjoys a tranquil setting with open countryside nearby, yet remains conveniently close to Bromyard"s amenities. Friendly neighbours, scenic surroundings and easy access to the town centre make this a truly desirable family home.

LOCATION
Bromyard is one of my favourite small towns. I spent a number of years happily living here recently. It is notable for its many old and historically interesting buildings and Market Square has a monthly local market. It retains a strong sense of local identity with many family run businesses and has preserved its heritage.
With a population of nearly 5,000 it is situated in the valley of the River Frome and lies near the county border with Worcestershire.
Unspoilt, with a generous number of pubs, a popular bakery, local independent shops and cafes, a theatre, leisure centre, 2 supermarkets, two primary schools and a High School plus Legges - a sensational delicatessen selling meats, cheese, wine etc and local produce that is second to none.
Bromyard has a real community feel with some of the nicest, down to earth folk I have had the pleasure of meeting. There are a variety of pubs in the high street to enjoy and the excellent Baiting House in Upper Sapey, serves excellent food and is just 6 miles North of Bromyard.
There are 2 doctors surgeries, Nunwell Surgery and St John's House Medical centre and 2 dental practices so you are well catered for.
Just 12 miles to Malvern, 15 miles to Worcester and 14 miles to Hereford. Great walks in any direction. Perfect for dog walkers and cyclists. There is the National Trust, Brockhampton Estate just up the hill which features a beautiful medieval house with a moat, coffee shop and offers wonderful walks.
Known as the Town of Festivals including the Folk, Scarecrow, Marmalade and Speed Festivals which are held yearly along with Nostock - a music festival held a few miles out of town for 4 days.
Hereford Sixth Form is on the bus route and is a highly recommended place to study for ones' A-levels.
It really offers a friendly community spirit and I highly recommend it as a place to live.
