"If you like your food and drink, you'll really enjoy all the local restaurants and bars on Gloucester Road. There are plenty within a few minutes walk. FED is an excellent spot for a morning coffee. We would also would highly recommend the wine bar, Cave, where we have spent many happy evenings. Our garden is South East facing and is great for eating outside in the summer. Horfield Common is a lovely green space within 5 minutes. If you work at home, perfect for a lunchtime walk."

Maple Road is an attractive residential street located in the heart of Horfield nestled between Horfield Common and Gloucester Road which is world famous for its wide array of independent shops, cafes and pubs. There are numerous attractions along Gloucester road but popular stops such as FED, Lonely Mouth and Grounded are all within easy reach should you want to nip out for a cup of coffee. Several highly regarded eateries are also nearby including Tinto Lounge, Pizzarova and the award-winning Bishopston Fish Bar which has been rated the ‘best in Bristol by far’.

For those looking to commute into work, busses run regularly along Gloucester road and offer easy access to all major employment areas such as Temple Quay and Temple Meads where trains run regularly into London; the City Centre, and North towards Filton where companies such as Airbus, Aviva, and the Ministry of Defence have their offices.
