We’ve absolutely loved living here, surrounded by idyllic countryside, with California Country Park and its beautiful woodland quite literally on our doorstep. It’s been the perfect setting to make lots of happy memories for our family — from long walks and dog adventures to tree climbing, exploring, and endless outdoor fun.
The house itself has been a joy to grow into. It isn’t overlooked, is incredibly quiet and the south facing garden has given us sunshine from morning to evening. Over the years we’ve adapted the space to suit our changing needs, creating a wonderfully flexible home which has included a playroom, a snug, office space, and gym area. The sociable kitchen and dining space has been the heart of our home, while the separate living area has offered a peaceful, calming place to unwind.
What we’ll miss most, though, is the community. The neighbours are genuinely fantastic — friendly, supportive, and always looking out for one another. Whether it’s street barbecues, lending a hand, or simply putting the bins out, everyone gets along brilliantly. It’s a rare and special place to live, and we feel very lucky to have called it home. It has given us much happiness and whilst it is time for our next chapter, we know that lots more happy memories will be made here.

If you are looking for an extended and well located four bedroom home, then look no further. We think this could be the perfect family home as it has been for our sellers who have summed up perfectly why not only is this a great house, but a great location too.

At the front of this home you have a bright and airy entrance hall which leads around to the left into the refitted open plan kitchen. It's been finished really nicely as you can tell from the details with solid stone worktops and integrated built in appliances. It's got plenty of storage but if you need a bit more space then this home has a separate utility room just next door. There is a real sense of space with the vaulted ceilings and skylights, not to mention having two extra reception rooms from here which gives you both an office and what could be a playroom. The lounge to the rear is a good size with a lovely bay window overlooking the garden and you'll notice the cloakroom has been nicely finished.


Upstairs the spacious landing spurs off to four good size bedrooms, with two of them being doubles. The master bedroom comes complete with built in wardrobes and it's own en suite shower room but we love the finish in the family bathroom which speaks for itself.

The rear garden as you can tell is not only a great size, but extremely private which is rare to find in an estate location. Wrapping around the house and backing onto the woodland behind, it gives you different areas of sun throughout the day. Whilst to the front you have ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles and a garage. Homes in this condition and this position rarely become available and if you are looking for a home with a big garden then this is not one to miss out on, we can't wait to take you on a tour.

The home sits tucked in the corner at the back of a quiet cul de sac on a great corner plot and is only a stones throw away from woodland. Just a few minutes walk away you have some great local amenities including the Co-op, Pharmacy and some great local places to eat. It also falls within many of the areas popular local school catchments such as Nine Mile Ride Primary School, Gorse Rise Primary and Bohunt Secondary Schools. If you're looking for some open green space to explore or take your dog for a walk, you've got some great choices locally such as Simons Wood, the FBC Centre and California Country park are all within walking distance. Both the FBC and California Country Park have great playparks and cafes too. Wokingham Town Centre and Train Station is also only a 12 minute drive away with some excellent retailers and places to eat. There are some excellent transport links by car too with easy access to both M3 and M4 motorways via the A329.
