With no through road, it feels settled and residential, yet you’re never far from the hustle and bustle of the village or lazy countryside walks. Lindfield itself is one of those places that people tend to stay once they arrive. Nearest to Nettle Grove is The Snowdrop, whilst head into the High Street and you’ll find a a strong independent feel, with a great mix of places to eat and drink. For food, I’d recommend the Bent Arms, That’s Amore, Tamasha and Le Flamant all catering for different styles and occasions. For coffee, Lindfield Coffee Works on Alma Road is hard to beat and very much part of the daily rhythm of the village.
