"What sold the flat to me was its easy access to some of my favourite green spaces in Bristol. You can walk through St George’s park, along Avonview Cemetery, past Strawberry Lane Community gardens, over Troopers Hill (with the best views of Bristol) into Conham River park and along the river Avon to Bath. A whole beautiful stretch of Green space right from the doorstep."

The home

A two bedroom flat on the first floor of a converted warehouse right by St George's Park. As you walk in, the two double bedrooms are on the left hand side - the larger one has an en-suite bathroom with a shower - and have west-facing windows so receive a good amount of natural light. The main bathroom has a full-sized bath with an overhead shower. There is ample space in the open-plan living area and kitchen, which have been colourfully designed by the current owner. Outdoor space

Residents have access to a communal courtyard. Just opposite the building, there is a green space for the surrounding Hudds Vale Road community.

Living in St George

The Old Work House is tucked away on a quiet no-through road just off Plummers Hill, east of St George’s Park and within easy reach of Church Road. St George’s Park is one of the city’s most popular green spaces, offering tennis courts, a café, a skate park, and a lake. The area is home to independent shops, cafés, pubs, and restaurants, including Loaf, Red Church, and Orchard Café. The much-loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are also staples of this vibrant community. For commuters, The Old Workhouse offers straightforward travel into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike, or car, while also being a short drive to Bath and the motorway network. From this side of the city, Bristol Temple Meads is only a short journey away.
