Us children walked to both Alwyn Infant School and Courthouse Junior School, making school runs a pleasure rather than a chore. The schools form a strong local federation, known for their supportive community atmosphere and smooth transition from infant to junior education. Newlands, Furze Platt Senior schools are also within walking distance or a 10 min drive
The sense of community here is something truly special. From the very start, neighbours were welcoming and friendly, always ready to offer support or a smile. They watched out for Mum and Dad in later years, a kindness we will always be grateful for.

It’s just a 15-minute walk to Maidenhead town centre and the train station, where the Elizabeth Line makes commuting into London fast and simple — a huge draw for busy working families. Road links are excellent too, with the M4 and M40 within easy reach, opening up travel across the region.

Within walking distance you’ll find local shops and a lovely café with really great bakes — perfect for weekends or quick coffees with friends. Off-road parking for up to three cars serves everyday life with ease.
