Plus, the main footpath is also the cycle path to the David Lloyd Leisure complex, the Ashton Court estate/parkland and to the harbourside and city of Bristol. There is also the park and ride, next to David Lloyd, at the end of the village.

The primary schools, large family houses and a village with great amenities, so close to Bristol and with such good transport links, yet also surrounded by parks, woods and countryside, are some of the reasons so many people want to move to Long Ashton.

Location

Long Ashton is particularly well-positioned, between the city of Bristol and the open countryside of North Somerset. The village is surrounded by fields, woods and golf courses. It also benefits from a David Lloyd Leisure Complex and the Ashton Court Estate at one end of the village, and at the other, Gatcombe Farm Shop and Ashton Hill.

Bristol's Harbourside is only 2 or 3 miles away, while Clifton and central Bristol are only 3 or 4 miles from Long Ashton.

This is a fantastic location, between the city and the countryside, with a thriving village community and plenty of village amenities, yet so close to the wonderful city of Bristol!
