Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenient. Its near the train station and shops. There is communal space for work and chill and affordable social events.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There was some water marks on my walls. The team quickly responded to my request regarding inspection and improvement. During the maintenance work, I was offered to stay in another room for the sake of my health. The staff Ryan was very friendly and helped me move my stuff. They fixed the damage in a week. The team was thoughtful and cleaned the mess afterwards.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Orientation session. Discounts for local shops. Local views

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is amazing as it’s a very short walk to Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. There are plenty of shops and cafe’s around and the area is generally quite safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response times are rapid! They are always on top of any issue, in a timely manner whatever it may be.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you want to live in the heart of Edinburgh, this is the place you want to be.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very convenient with great access to shops, restaurants and transport links. Everything we need is close by, which makes daily life very easy. The area feels safe and well maintained, and there are good open spaces nearby. We have not experienced any issues with noise, anti social behaviour or cleanliness on the street. Overall it is a pleasant and practical location to live in

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has been very responsive and proactive overall. There were some issues with the hot water for a period during the winter. We understand this was not the fault of the on site team, and they were actively working to resolve the situation. Richard from maintenance has been especially helpful. He clearly cares about residents and takes pride in making sure everyone is safe and comfortable. The team communicated well and did their best to address concerns as quickly as possible. Aside from that temporary period, everything has been handled very smoothly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing to be aware of is that the WiFi in the apartments can occasionally drop in and out. However, it is included and free, which is a great benefit overall. The building also has two excellent common spaces where the WiFi is very strong and reliable, and that is usually where I choose to work from anyway. So in practice it has not been a major issue for us. If anything, it would be a great addition in the future if there were private meeting rooms that residents could book for working from home calls or focused work sessions. Aside from that, there have been no real surprises and we have been very happy living here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area to live- short 20min walk into the city centre but also plenty of cafes and smaller shops around. Less than 5 mins onto the river path which is great for runs. Also 5 mins to Victoria park. Outside parking is currently a bit of an issue with none residents using allocated spaces but hopefully this will be resolved soon with ANPR cameras.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Only had one minor maintenance issue which was resolved very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building uses Ask4 WiFi which one of our work devices cannot connect to. It’s not a huge issue for us but might be worth checking if you use secure devices at home for work.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We’re really happy living here. The area has a great range of local shops, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance, as well as lovely parks nearby for relaxing or walking. A lot of dog friendly places! Transport links are good and very convenient, making commuting easy. Our street feels safe and friendly, with reliable bin collections and minimal noise. Parking can occasionally be limited, but overall it’s a fantastic place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded promptly and professionally to any issues we’ve raised. Communication is clear, and problems are resolved efficiently, which gives us confidence and peace of mind.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing we wish we had known before moving in is how friendly and welcoming the community is - it’s something you don’t fully appreciate during a viewing. We have a lot of interesting events with or without our pets. We have some sport activity in the building as well. So, it is wonderful - love this part!
