Helensburgh Central train station offers connections to Glasgow with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes. The train line runs all through to Edinburgh Waverly and takes approximately 2 hours. There are regular bus routes from Rhu to Glasgow. Access to the motorway network is via Junction 30 of the M8 at Erskine which lies 18.5 miles to the south east.
